Ministry Minds 2026
What is the purpose of Ministry Minds?
- Our purpose is to stretch keen Christians to live more intentional, sacrificial and gospel-shaped lives for Jesus.
- The first aspect of ministry minds is our training nights. These nights will take place over 5 Mondays nights (spread out across the year) and are aimed at stretching your thinking in doctrine and its practical outworking. Each night will focus on a different aspect of theology and will be accompanied by some pre-reading to broaden your understanding.
- The second aspect of ministry minds is mentoring. Mentoring is optional. For those who are mentored, some will be mentored as an individual and some will be mentored in a group. The goal of mentoring is to have intentional conversations about our specific contexts and how we can live a more gospel shaped life. For some people, this will include questions about their suitability, convictions, and potential pathways into vocational ministry.

- Sydney for the Kingdom (SFK) events
- Saturday 9th May – SFK Young leader day.
- Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October – Sydney for the Kingdom Conference
What are the details for mentoring?
- We expect mentoring (individual and group) to happen once a term (i.e. 4 times a year).
- The Ministry Minds mentoring sessions should be distinct from other ministry related meetings (e.g. a meeting to discuss Kids Plus, Gospel teams etc.)
- For couples who are being mentored, you may like to meet up together or separately depending on the content of your discussion.
