Pastoral Staff
Phil Colgan
Senior Minister
Phil oversees the parish as a whole as our senior minister. He serves as part of the pastoral team for each of our congregations. Phil is the main preacher at the Carlton congregations and preaches regularly at our Bexley North congregation. Phil is married to Victoria and they have three adult children. After working in corporate taxation, Phil studied at Moore College and has been at SNAC since 2004.
Kevin Stepniewski
Senior Assistant Minister (Kids)
Kevin assists Phil in running the whole parish and is also responsible for overseeing children’s ministry. Kevin is married to Amy and they have three children. Kevin became a Christian at SNAC. He worked as an electrical engineer before training as a ministry apprentice (MTS) at SNAC. He studied at Moore College and joined the SNAC staff team in 2014.
Avril Pascoe
Assistant Minister
Avril serves as part of the pastoral team for the 10:30am and 6:30pm congregations at Carlton where she attends with her husband Henry. She has a special focus on women’s ministry and welcoming new members into our church. Avril became a Christian at SNAC and went on to work in marketing before training as a ministry apprentice (MTS) at SNAC. She then completed her studies at Moore College and joined the SNAC staff team in 2021.
Brendan Moar
Assistant Minister (Youth)
Brendan is responsible for overseeing youth ministry across the parish and also serves as part of the pastoral team for our our 6:30pm congregation at Carlton . Brendan is married to Kate and they have three children. Brendan studied at Youthworks College and then Moore College. He worked as an Early Educator and joined the SNAC staff team in 2009.
Jana Koulouris
Assistant Minister (Part-time)
Jana serves as part of the pastoral team for our 9am Carlton congregation where she attends with her family. She has a special focus on women’s ministry and also encouraging people to use their gifts in service. Jana is married to Petros and they have three boys. She became a Christian at SNAC and previously served as our children’s minister. Jana completed an ministry apprenticeship (MTS) at SNAC then studied at Youthworks College.
Joshua Hesford
Assistant Minister
Josh is the primary ministry at our 10am Bexley North congregation where he attends with his family. He is attends our 6:30pm Carlton congregation. Josh is married to Nikki and they have three young children. Josh worked for ten years as an architect and urban designer. He studied at Moore College and joined the SNAC staff team in 2021.
Marcus Robertson
Assistant Minister
Marcus serves as part of the pastoral team for our 9am Carlton congregation where he attends with his family. He has a special focus on mission across our parish and also attends our 6:30pm Carlton congregation. Marcus is married to Naomi and they have two children. He studied at Moore College and joined the SNAC staff team in 2026.
Troy Munns
Assistant Minister
Troy serves as part of the pastoral team for our 6:30pm Carlton congregations and has a special focus on overseeing our Sunday meetings. Troy is married to Sarah and they have three children. Troy worked in the music and retail industries. He studied at Youthworks College and Sydney Missionary & Bible College before joining the SNAC staff team in 2013.
Support staff
Janet Lam
Administrator
Janet works part time as our financial administrator as well as providing administrative support to the senior minister. Janet attends our 9am congregation with her husband and three children.
